Here are my drum kits – they create a diverse palette of tones. Each kit comes from a different manufacturer and brings its own history and character. Different sizes and types of wood allow me to build sounds suited to any situation.

Below is a selection of snare drums from my collection – these are models I particularly like and use most often in recording sessions and live performances.
Ludwig Supraphonic LM402
My favourite snare – a legendary model with a bright, metallic sound and huge dynamic range. A classic used by the greatest drummers.
Yamaha Vinnie Colaiuta Sign.
Precise, balanced and extremely sensitive. Works perfectly in the studio, offering a wide frequency range and full control over the sound.
Yamaha Musashi 13"
This snare was used to record “Billie Jean” by Michael Jackson. The sound is dry, focused and cuts through any mix.
PDP Signature Eric Hernandez
Fast attack, clear tone and a strong “snap”. Excellent for funk grooves and modern pop arrangements.
Premier Olympic 14" x 8"
A warm tone and deep sustain give it a powerful, fat sound. Great for rock recordings and live performances.
Sonor 10 x 2'' Jungle
Small, sharp and energetic. I often play it with a tambourine – it creates a unique percussive effect and a fast attack.
